At the end of August 2020, SATT AxLR signed a license agreement with the company BIONOMEEX on an Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution in the field of super-resolution microscopy (known as PALM).
The software developed by the team makes it possible to digitally increase the quality of the images obtained by Photo Activation Localization Microscopy (PALM technology) for unfavorable acquisition conditions. This software therefore makes it possible to improve the observations of fluorescent molecules and to specify their dynamics. The applications are mainly in the biomedical field.
BIONOMEEX is a company created by Clément Carré (CEO - PhD in applied mathematics), Gabriel Krouk (CSO - PhD, Director of Research in Biology at CNRS) and André Mas (Expert - Professor of mathematics at the University of Montpellier). It offers innovative and tailor-made analysis tools for R&D projects in the fields of biology, medicine and the environment.
