To remain competitive and attractive, French companies must get out of their traditional operations, become more agile and open to their environment. In the face of global competition and the multitude of technologies available, the search for technological opportunities is a decisive strategic tool to stay one step ahead. However, the time, experience and knowledge needed by Major Groups and midcaps may be lacking to be effective. The technology scouting offer developed by the SATT Network since 2017 aims to facilitate this approach and to support companies in their technological solutions. The SATT Network puts at their disposal its expertise of academic innovation, with the possibility to access 70% of the French public research, in all the scientific domains and all the application industrial sectors, but also its perfect knowledge of the regional and national innovation ecosystem. A single interlocutor accompanies them at each step of the process:
● The establishment of a specification expressing the problem and the desired field of analysis,
● Researching, identifying and analyzing opportunities and innovations in the targeted area in coordination with the 13 SATTs in the network.
● The production of a specific and operational summary providing an inventory of accessible technologies according to three levels of maturity: upstream technologies, matured technologies from maturation projects financed by the SATTs and start-ups.
